A PLAN to fine female golfers £760 if they wear revealing outfits or tight leggings has left many players feeling under par.
The LPGA were accused of 'slut-shaming' players
The Ladies Professional Golf Association were yesterday accused of trying to “slut-shame” players after they banned plunging necklines and hemlines that reveal players’ bottoms “at any time” including when “bent over”.
Others took to social media, mocking the rules on courses and at pro-am parties on the Tour.

Former European men’s tour player Matt Blackey tweeted: “I’m not sure a stricter dress code will help golf’s appeal.”
But the association warned any transgression from the new code would result in a 1,000-dollar fine (£760) for the first offence, doubling for further breaches.

Spokeswoman Heather Daly-Donofrio insisted the rules reflect a “positive image for the game”.
