US Open 2017: World golf rankings - who is world No1 golfer?
THE US OPEN heads to Erin Hills this week for the second major of the year, the first time it has ever taken place in Wisconsin.
Dustin Johnson is the world No1 golfer with Rory McIlroy No2
Dustin Johnson arrives as defending champion and favourite to retain his title although he would be the first man to do so since Curtis Strange in 1989.
The American sits top of the world rankings and has already won two tournaments this year.
However, he missed the cut on his last outing, shooting 78 and 74 at Muirfield Village in the Memorial Tournament.
He will likely be challenged by the two other top golfers in the world, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day, both of whom are expected to be near the top of the leaderboard when Sunday comes around.
