Ryder Cup fans warned by PGA of America over behaviour
TEAM USA fans have been told to behave themselves or risk ejection from the course at the Ryder Cup.
Packed galleries have lined every hole at the Ryder Cup
Rory McIlroy asked for some fans to be removed and Henrik Stenson was forced to pull out of a putt because someone shouted at him.
Both sets of players have condemned the behaviour of a minority of fans but now golf's governing body in the US has spoken out on the problems.
"This week we’ve seen some of the largest and most exciting Ryder Cup crowds ever," a statement by the PGA of America said.
"We look forward to a strong finish today that reflects the spirit of the Ryder Cup and provides a positive experience for all."
Europe currently trail by three points going into Sunday's singles matches with McIlroy taking on Patrick Reed in the opening match.
