Stephen Gallacher previews three big holes at Gleneagles
STEPHEN GALLACHER is the man who knows Gleneagles best - he lives just 35 miles from the course.
Here he reveals his local knowledge of the key holes at the PGA Centenary Course where he finished runner-up at the 2013 Johnnie Walker Championship.
14 - Nebit Knowe
320 yards, Par 4
This will be massive. It's a risk and reward hole. You can have a dig at it, over the bunker front right, and get it close to a fairly flat green. There are some run-off areas at the back of it but there are going to be a lot of birdies on this hole.

17 - Ca'Canny
194 yards, Par 3
It's a good mid-iron par 3 into a well-protected green which will be a stadium hole with an enormous crowd packed in around what is a natural amphitheatre. It's a tricky green and a big swing hole - you can be two-down here and still have a chance of salvaging a half.
18 - Dun Roamin'
513 yards, Par 5
If you find the fairway off the tee, you have a long iron into a green redesigned three years ago by Jack Nicklaus, but there are bunkers and run-off areas around it. Anything can happen here. You're going to see eagles, birdies, doubles...it is purpose-built for matchplay.
