The 2018 Ryder Cup is in full swing with Day 1 at Le Golf National already bringing plenty of excitement and drama.
The Americans took a 3-1 lead into Friday afternoon following the morning’s fourballs session, with Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood grabbing a late point for Europe.
But the tables quickly turned during the foursomes session with the Europeans winning all four matches to head into the second day 5-3 in front.

Ryder Cup 2018 - When are foursomes pairings announced?
Towards the end of this morning's session, the team captains will consult with their vice-captains and players before submitting their foursomes pairings.
And just like on Friday, the afternoon foursome pairings will be revealed around 11:35am.
Bjorn and Furyk will also have a 30-minute window of opportunity to make any changes to their pairings before locking in their decision by 12:05pm.
With the scoreboard taking shape following the first three sessions, this afternoon’s play could have a huge impact in the overall outcome.
