Ryder Cup: Tiger Woods recalls concerns over Medinah 2012
Woods leads the tournament going into Sunday as he aims to end a five-year winning drought.
Woods’ last win came in 2013 at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational but sits three shots clear of Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose in Atlanta.
It comes after the 42-year-old hit a five-under 65 in the third round, which included seven birdies.
Five of those birdies came in a row on the front nine as Woods hunts his first title since coming back from injury last year.
“I would love to be able to win this event,” Woods said.
“I've got a three-shot lead.
“I’ve got a bunch of guys behind me that have been playing well and are playing well, and we'll see what happens tomorrow.
“Simple math says that if I play a clean card, the guys behind me have to shoot 67 to force it into extra"
