Man Utd transfer news: Pundit ‘staggered’ at rumours Isco could join from Real Madrid
MANCHESTER UNITED will not be signing Isco from Real Madrid this month, says ESPN FC pundit Paul Mariner.

Isco has often been linked with a move away from Real Madrid in recent years.
Earlier this summer reports claimed Manchester United were keen on the Spain international.
Mariner was discussing United’s interest on the ESPN transfer rater.
And he cannot understand why Real would let a player of Isco’s calibre leave.
“I don’t get it,” the former Arsenal striker said.

“It doesn’t make any sense.
“We’re hearing (Luka) Modric to Milan, we’re hearing Isco to United. What’s going on in Madrid?
"Look, he’s a fantastic player. If Manchester United could get a player like that, of course it would be amazing.
“I’d be staggered if Real Madrid let him go to Manchester United.
“I’m going to say this is a miss.”
Isco has spent the last five seasons at Real, scoring 41 goals in 240 appearances.
He was part of the Spain squad which disappointed at the World Cup this summer.
Isco played for Real against United in a pre-season match on Wednesday night.
United won the game 2-1 thanks to goals from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera.
Karim Benzema scored Real's only goal in first-half stoppage time.
