Salah in Liverpool training but ruled out of Dortmund clash as club heroes oversee session
MOHAMED SALAH joined his Liverpool team-mates in training yesterday but has already been ruled out of featuring against Borussia Dortmund.
Mohamed Salah and his Liverpool team-mates have been hard at work training at the Bank of America Stadium ahead of their International Champions Cup clash with Borussia Dortmund.
However, manager Jurgen Klopp has already ruled Salah, Sadio Mane and Marko Grujic out of lining up against his former club.
The trio only returned to Melwood on Friday following their World Cup exploits and will not be risked against the Bundesliga side despite taking full part in training.
Dejan Lovren and Xherdan Shaqiri are also unavailable with the pair still on post-World Cup holidays, while Alisson is also yet to link up with the squad.
Former Liverpool players and current club ambassadors John Arne Riise, Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler and Sami Hyypia were all present at the open training session in Charlotte while coach Pep Lijnders was seen barking orders at the Reds players.
