That’s the verdict of former Arsenal ace Stewart Robson, who says the winger’s impressive World Cup will have reignited United’s interest.
Perisic was on Jose Mourinho’s wanted list last year as the United boss looked for someone to provide the ammunition for new hitman Romelu Lukaku.
But he missed out on a deal with Manchester United unwilling to meet the asking price Inter Milan had slapped on the Croatia international.
Perisic’s exploits as his country secured a shock World Cup final berth have seen him heavily linked with United once again.
Robson, who now works as a pundit in the USA, is backing the 29-year-old to finally seal his switch to Old Trafford this summer.
"Alexis Sanchez plays in his position," Robson told ESPN FC. "He [Sanchez] didn’t do particularly well last season.
"Perisic, there was talk about him going to Manchester United last year.

"I think he had a good enough World Cup for Manchester United to be interested again.
"I think he will go to United and he will be a hit."
Earlier this week Robson’s ESPN FC colleague Craig Burley revealed he would sooner have Perisic among his ranks than Sanchez.
"I’d certainly have Ivan Perisic over Alexis Sanchez if the short period he’s had so far is anything to go by," said Burley.
"We know he’s a good footballer but I just couldn’t work out where and how Mourinho was trying to fit him in.
"Perisic is certainly a player that would fit the mould of Mourinho and Man United.
"I don’t know if it’s going to happen but Ivan Perisic would be a fantastic addition for Manchester United."
