Arsenal transfer news: Which two Gunners stars could be shown the door by Unai Emery?
DANNY WELBECK and David Ospina are the two players most likely to leave Arsenal before the new season begins, reports claim.
After a busy summer window so far that has seen five players join for around £70million, Arsenal are planning to cut loose their fringe players.
While Unai Emery has tried to strengthen his squad to compete next term, he is now intent on trimming his squad.
And according to the Daily Telegraph, Ospina and Welbeck are the two players that could be axed.
Welbeck is into the final year of his contract and injuries have meant he has only scored 27 goals over four years, although he played 43 games last season.
Ospina in the meantime, has fallen further down the pecking order after the signing of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
The Telegraph also claims that Lucas Perez, Carl Jenkinson, Chunba Akpom and Joel Campbell are expected to be sold.
Emery is trying to work out which players will remain and which will benefit from a loan spell.
