Liverpool: The Reds unveil new signing Xherdan Shaqiri
The Switzerland international – who’s just returned from the World Cup in Russia – has signed a long-term deal with the club for a fee in the region of £13million.
And the Reds announced their third summer signing in a video across their social media channels.
An out of focus Shaqiri was seen catching a Liverpool shirt before walking towards the camera and stopping with his arms crossed.
The video carried the hashtag #XS23 – the former Stoke man will wear No 23 during his time at Anfield.

“I’m very happy to be here,” Shaqiri said after completing his move to Merseyside.
“It’s a huge club with big history, big players and a fantastic coach. So I’m really glad and happy to be here.
“As a player you always want to be on the biggest stage in football.
“A few years ago I wanted to come too but it didn’t happen. I’m really happy that now I’m finally here.
“I want to improve myself too, I want to be with the best and I want to win titles. That’s what I’m here for.”
