Shaqiri’s medical at Liverpool is now underway after flying in to Merseyside this morning.
The Switzerland star will become Liverpool’s third summer signing in a deal worth £13.5m.
Shaqiri was eliminated from the World Cup with Switzerland by Sweden in the round of 16 just 10 days ago.

Shaqiri has been desperate to seal a move back to the top flight after being relegated with Stoke last season.
