World Cup: Gareth Southgate reflects on semi final loss
England's World Cup hopes were dashed as Croatia stopped Gareth Southgate's men from making a first final since 1966.
The Three Lions looked on course when Kieran Trippier curled home a stunning free-kick with less just five minutes on the board.
Croatia rallied, however, with Ivan Perisic and Mario Mandzukic finding the net to dash the hopes of a nation.
England had a huge tournament in Russia but, in the end, it was not meant to be.
And BBC Sport commentator Chris Waddle thinks they need to find a creative player if they are to challenge for the European Championships when they kick off in 2020.

"The three centre-halves did very well throughout the tournament although they fell asleep for the winner tonight," he said.
"The goalkeeper was impressive and I think Jordan Henderson did well.
"I'm not sure about Jesse Lingard and Dele Alli because I think we need more of a creative player that can pick the ball up and drive with it.
"Harry Kane scored goals but he was quiet tonight.
"Raheem Sterling will always be a question because he doesn't score enough goals but he causes trouble for the opposition."

Harry Kane states England 'can be proud of achievements'
Captain Kane cut a dejected figure after the game.
“It’s tough. We’re gutted, you know. We worked so hard. The fans were amazing,” Kane said.
“It was a tough game, a 50-50 game. I’m sure there was stuff we could have done better, but we worked as hard as we could.
“It hurts, it’ll hurt for a while, but we can hold our heads up high. It was a fantastic journey, we got further than anyone thought we could, we’ve just got to learn from it."
