West Ham transfer news: Jack Wilshere spotted at London stadium in Hammers shirt
JACK WILSHERE has been spotted walking around the London Stadium with a West Ham top with his name on.
Wilshere is set to complete his move to West Ham having agreed a three-year deal and passing a medical.
Wilshere’s Arsenal contract expired this summer and he decided to leave the club after talks with new boss Unai Emery.
Wilshere is a West Ham fan and is keen to get his career back on track.
The 26-year-old missed out on a place in the England squad this summer despite regaining his fitness and playing a big part in Arsenal’s season.
He will become West Ham’s fourth summer signing following the appointment of Manuel Pellegrini.
The Hammers have already been busy since the Chilean's arrival in east London, bringing in Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski and Issa Diop already this summer.
And this week they are expected to snap up Wilshere, Fabian Balbuena, and Felipe Anderson from Lazio.
Wilshere will arrive on a three-year deal and has picked West Ham over Fenerbahce.
“My whole family were West Ham fans, I was a West Ham fan, still have a soft spot for them of course," he said.
“I used to love them. I had all the shirts."
