Transfer news: Roma chief welcomes bids from Liverpool and Chelsea for Roma star Alisson
LIVERPOOL and Chelsea have not yet launched any bids for transfer target Alisson, claims Roma sporting director Monchi.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has been dumped out of the World Cup after the South American nation were beaten by Belgium in the last eight.
Alisson is now on his summer holiday before returning to Roma for pre-season.
But speculation still remains over his future at the Serie A outfit with Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid all interested.
But Monchi claims no club has made an offer for Alisson so far this summer, however, he appears to have welcomed any future offers, insisting they will evaluate any they receive.
"It’s the same as Florenzi, nothing has changed, because so far we have not received any offers," he said in a press conference on Saturday.
If there were new developments, we’d evaluate them, but nothing has come in
"I’d say it is strange to claim we have a price-tag in mind, because if we haven’t received any bids, we can’t think about a price.
"Now Alisson is on vacation and will return for pre-season training.
"If there were new developments, we’d evaluate them, but nothing has come in."
Alisson to Liverpool could cost Klopp €80 million says expert
Liverpool are considering a move for the 25-year-old after Loris Karius' nightmare showing in the Champions League final.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are in need of a replacement due to Thibaut Courtois' ongoing contract situation.
The Belgian has refused to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge amid talk of a return to Madrid this summer.
