Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus: 'Breakthrough' as Real Madrid target three replacements
CRISTIANO RONALDO has moved one step closer to joining Juventus after Real Madrid identified three players who can replace him.
Ronaldo WANTS Juventus move says Guillem Balague
That’s according to Italian journalist Michele Criscitiello, who says Chelsea winger Eden Hazard is one of the men on Real’s radar.
Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the subject of an £88m (€100m) bid from Juventus and is thought to be keen to quit Real.
Real are understandably concerned about the prospect of losing the Portugal international, who’s scored 450 goals for them in nine years.
Real will have to splash some serious cash this summer in order to replace talismanic forward Ronaldo.
However, Criscitiello, who is the CEO of Sportitalia, has now revealed positive news as far Ronaldo and Juventus are concerned.
"Sportitalia: Ronaldo-Juve, breakthrough Perez," Criscitiello wrote on Twitter.
"Real Madrid wants Hazard and one between [Mauro] Icardi and [Robert] Lewandoswski to replace CR7.
"Belgium in the semi-finals [of the World Cup] slows it [Hazard deal] down."
Harry Kane, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe have also been linked with Real as Perez seeks to replace Ronaldo.
While a move for Ronaldo’s prospective Juventus team-mate Paulo Dybala has been ruled out.

There are likely to be permutations off the back of Ronaldo heading to the Allianz Stadium.
Gonzalo Higuain has been tipped to leave Juventus for Chelsea if Ronaldo arrives.
That switch would probably mean a reunion with Maurizio Sarri, who is expected to replace Antonio Conte soon.
