New Arsenal signing still not training as Sokratis works hard and Lacazette causes trouble
ARSENAL have been hard at work in pre-season training this week, but one summer signing is still yet to be seen at London Colney.
New Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been getting to know his players during pre-season training at London Colney this week.
The French boss, who took over from Arsene Wenger last month, has been a prominent presence overseeing sessions as the Gunners get up to speed ahead of the new campaign.
Emery has been busy in the transfer market already, with Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis Papastathopoulos all joining the club in recent weeks.
However, there has been no sign of German goalkeeper Leno in training since his move from Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Football London, the 26-year-old has been given more time off having been involved in Germany’s pre-World Cup preparations and is scheduled to begin sessions next week.
