Cristiano Ronaldo spotted in Turin? Fans duped by footballer at the airport
CRISTIANO RONALDO is close to joining Juventus - and some fans thought they had spotted the Real Madrid star in Turin.
Ronaldo to Juventus: Real Madrid will sell for the right offer
Ronaldo, 33, has supposedly agreed to join the Serie A giants this summer.
Juventus are said to have offered him a £30m-a-season, four-year contract in Turin.
They have tabled an £88m bid for the Portugal superstar and Real Madrid are working out how to act.
Real want to keep Ronaldo but he appears keen to quit the club after nine years at the Bernabeu.
But any hope Juve fans of him rocking up in Italy today seem to be too farfetched.
Fans went into meltdown on Wednesday after images emerged reportedly showing Cristiano Ronaldo at Turin airport.

But supporters were in fact duped into believing it was the Portugal international.
The shots circulating on social media were actually of Torino footballer Armando Izzo.
Izzo, 26, was spotted wearing a hat and large sunglasses, with a tuft of facial hair.
Some fans tweeted images of the player believing he was Ronaldo.

But more shrewd supporters realised the tattoos on Izzo’s neck gave the game away, as Ronaldo does not have any tattoos.
Izzo could end up marking Ronaldo in Serie A next season if the latter completes his move to Juventus.
The centre-back joined Torino this summer from Genoa, having initially started out at Napoli.
