Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus: Real Madrid star's deal in doubt over Neymar frustration
CRISTIANO RONALDO’s move to Juventus could be in jeopardy with the Real Madrid star reportedly insulted with the €100 million (£88m) fee.
The Portuguese superstar has been linked with a move to Turin with Madrid rumoured to be willing to accept the offer.
That’s despite Ronaldo’s release clause sitting at €1billion (£883.5m).
Juve are more and more confident of pulling off a huge deal having offered a four-year £26.5million-per-year contract to the Portuguese star.
That represents a sizeable increase on the current £18.5m package paid to him by Real Madrid, with the 33-year-old having reportedly told the La Liga club that he wants to be paid closer to the wages of Lionel Messi and Neymar.
But Marca now report that Ronaldo will not be happy if his current club do accept an offer of €100m.
Ronaldo reportedly made up his mind to leave the Bernabeu in January with Real reluctant to let him sign for Barcelona or PSG.
Juventus seem to be the front-runners but Ronaldo is reportedly disappointed after seeing Neymar depart Barca for PSG for €222m (£200m) last summer.
It’s claimed Ronaldo is tempted by a move to Juventus having felt appreciated and admired following his stunning overhead kick against the Serie A side in the Champions League.

Indeed, Marca also claim that Ronaldo has already begun house-hunting in Turin ahead of the potential move.
According to the report, ‘the player is aware that he would be leaving a city behind that has been very good to him and his family, he's enjoyed a very happy life in the Spanish capital, but he's already thinking about his possible future in Italy’.
Ronaldo has also been linked with a move back to Manchester United having departed Old Trafford for Real in 2009.
