Kyle Walker offers hilarious England injury update after World Cup penalty drama
KYLE WALKER’s heroics on Twitter are seemingly just as good as his efforts on the pitch following last night’s World Cup drama.
WORLD CUP INSIDER: This is a NEW England under Southgate
England reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup last night after beating Colombia 4-3 on penalties as Eric Dier stepped up to score the winning spot-kick.
With Dier in the box, and Pickford down near the goal-line, the other nine England players hugged one another on the halfway line, anxiously awaiting the Tottenham star’s kick.
And once Dier had converted past David Ospina, wild celebrations on the pitch saw the players run from the halfway line to greet Dier and Pickford.
However, Walker wasn’t with his team-mates after he was taken off with seven minutes of extra-time remaining for Marcus Rashford, with cramp causing him problems.

But Walker took to Twitter to post a photo with himself photoshopped into the picture of his team-mates.
He captioned the photo: “Dad, can you show me that photo of you guys running after reaching the quarter final?
-“Nah son”.
And this afternoon, Walker took to Twitter again to mock himself suffering with cramp.
A picture of the Manchester City defender in the gym had the caption: “Still stuck in this position but the cramp has gone”.
Walker will now be looking to be fully fit for England’s quarter-final clash with Sweden on Saturday (3pm).
The sides have met before eight times in tournaments and qualifiers.
Out of those meetings, England have won just one – a 3-2 triumph at Euro 2012 where Andy Carroll, Danny Welbeck and Theo Walcott netted.
There have been five draws and two wins for the Swedes.
