Man Utd transfer news: Marouane Fellaini reveals when his future could be decided
MAROUANE FELLAINI has revealed his Manchester United will be resolved very soon.
Fellaini will be a free agent at the end of this month and has so far refused to sign a new deal with Manchester United.
Jose Mourinho is a fan of the afro-haired Belgian, but he has already taken steps to revamp his midfield.
With Michael Carrick now retired, Mourinho has snapped up Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk for £52million.
As far as Fellaini is concerned, he is angling for a new contract worth £125,000 a week, but an agreement hasn’t been forthcoming.
Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
You will know very soon
And now Fellaini has admitted news over his future is imminent, as he said: “You will know very soon.”
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Gunners legend Robert Pires thinks that would be a possibility.
“Everybody knows Marouane Fellaini in the Premier League,” Pires said.
“Of course last season it was very, very difficult, the relation with Jose Mourinho.
“But I think he’s a good player, if he wants to join Arsenal I think it would be good news.
“He needs a new start and I think, with his quality, I think he can help Unai Emery and he can help the Arsenal players in the squad.”
