Liverpool transfer news: Arsenal and Tottenham ready to pounce for Rhian Brewster
ARSENAL and Tottenham are ready to pounce for Liverpool prospect Rhian Brewster, reports claim.
Liverpool are delighted to sign Rhian Brewster says commentator
Brewster joined Liverpool from Chelsea four years ago and the 18-year-old is tipped to have a bright future in the game.
The England U17 international is still waiting to make his first appearance for the Reds, although he made it onto the substitutes bench against Crystal Palace last April.
He is yet to sign a new deal, raising the chances of a potential departure from Anfield.
According to The Sun, Brewster is seeking assurances from Jurgen Klopp over his playing future.
Liverpool eye deal for Rhiuan Brewster
The report suggests Arsenal and Spurs are watching with great interest in the event that contract talks may collapse.
Brewster is hoping to get more first team football under his belt, but Klopp isn’t short of attacking talent.
Although a deal fell through for Lyon star Nabil Fekir, Klopp can still call on the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Naby Keita.
The Sun also claim that Brewster isn’t looking to cash in when he signs his first pro deal.
While it is thought broadly speaking, a deal has been agreed, Arsenal and Spurs still hope they can swoop in for him.
The north London rivals have a wealth of players coming through from the academy and would be happy to add to their squads.
Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have also expressed an interest in Brewster.
