Real Madrid deal close
10:28: Real Madrid and Roma are just £8.7m away from agreeing a deal for Alisson.
That is according to Spanish newspaper Marca this morning.
Express Sport understands both Liverpool and Chelsea want to sign the Brazil international.
But they are way behind Real Madrid in the negotiations.
Marca claim Real have offered £43.8m (€50m), while Roma want £61.3m (€70m).
An agreement to meet in the middle at £52.5m (€60m) could therefore be settled soon.
Liverpool back in for Fekir
09:50: Liverpool may go back in for Nabil Fekir this summer.
The club saw a move for the playmaker terminated earlier in June after discovering a problem with his medical.
Fekir ended up remaining at Lyon, where the French club expect him to stay.
However, the Liverpool Echo claim Jurgen Klopp has not given up hope of landing the France international.
Klopp remains keen to secure a deal and the Reds may make another offer, should interest in other targets fall away.
Liverpool battle Chelsea
08:30: Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in triggering Porto star Alex Telles’ release clause.
That is according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.
Porto are desperate to lock the Brazilian down to anew contract and thus raise his release clause.
But the player could seek to leave Portugal and head to the Premier League.
The report says Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been notified of Telles’ availability, while Chelsea are also keen.
However, suitors PSG cannot sign him as they are already seeking to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules by raising £53m from player sales by July 1.
Liverpool have to get goalkeeper Alisson, says Steve Nicol
Alisson deal backed
08:25: Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol reckons the Reds will sign Roma goalkeeper Alisson ahead of Real Madrid.
“This is about the price,” Nicol told ESPN FC. “I would love Alisson at Liverpool.
“As far as I understand, Liverpool have made a bid. I am going to say they have get him.”
Alisson, 25, is also wanted at Chelsea.
However, the Blues would likely have sell Thibaut Courtois first before making a move for Roma’s shot-stopper.
