Arsenal transfer news: Fans demand Aleksandr Golovin deal as Russian scores at World Cup
ARSENAL fans have called on the club to sign Aleksandr Golovin after his heroics at the World Cup today.
Golovin scored the fifth goal as Russia smashed Saudi Arabia 5-0 in the opening day of the World Cup.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the CSKA Moscow star since January.
He is not thought to be on Unai Emery’s wish list of transfer targets for the summer.
But Gunners fans nonetheless are urging the club to take action and snap him up.
One fan wrote: “Would love me some Golovin at Arsenal, those set pieces alone are worth it!”
Another put: “Get golovin @Arsenal”
