Kante to Real Madrid
Real Madrid are interested in signing N’Golo Kante.
That is the shock revelation coming out of Spain this afternoon.
Chelsea are determined to keep Kante, who has attracted interest from PSG in recent weeks.
But now Marca claim Real Madrid are also eyeing a move for the France international once the World Cup is over.
Blues affected by Lopetegui decision
Speculation over who will become Spain’s new manager has already started - and it could have an impact on Chelsea.
Julian Lopetegui will leave his post to join Real Madrid after the World Cup.
And Mundo Deportivo claim six contenders are on the list to replace Lopetegui, including Chelsea target Luis Enrique.
They are:
Chelsea target Luis Enrique
Spain U21 coach Albert Celades
Out-of-work former Oviedo boss Fernando Hierro
Former Las Palmas head coach Paco Jemez
Ex-Watford manager Quique Sanchez Flores
Real Betis’ Quique Setien
Kante decision
Chelsea will not be offloading N’Golo Kante amid interest from PSG.
Kante has emerged as the leading transfer target for PSG this summer following his impressive spell in the Premier League.
But French publication Le 10 Sport claim that Chelsea have deemed Kante untransferable.
Stamford Bridge bosses have decided they will reject any advances for the France international’s signature this summer.
Hazard injury update
Belgium boss Roberto Martinez insists Eden Hazard’s injury isn’t serious.
The Chelsea star limped off against Costa Rica last night, but Martinez reckons his key man will be fit for the World Cup.
He said: “At the end he just came off because he had a little bit of a dead leg, a little bit of a knock on his leg.
“Nothing to be worried about.”
Nainggolan boost
Roma will listen to offers for Chelsea target Radja Nainggolan.
The Belgium midfielder has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in recent months.
And Gianluca Di Marzio claim Roma are willing to sell the 30-year-old this summer.
However, they add that Nainggolan has held initial talks with Inter Milan.
Grealish bid ready
Chelsea are hoping to beat numerous Premier League sides to Aston Villa superstar Jack Grealish.
Teamtalk claim the Blues are willing to buy the playmaker for £30m AND loan the 22-year-old back to Villa for next season.
Grealish wants to stay at Villa Park for at least another season, despite their failure to gain promotion to the Premier League.
Hazard speaks out
Eden Hazard has told Chelsea to resolve the uncertainty surrounding the club - otherwise he could quit.
The Belgium international, who is wanted by Real Madrid, is keen to find out whether Antonio Conte will be in charge next season, as well as possible additions to the squad.
When asked if his Chelsea future depends on who’s in charge and the Blues’ transfer plans, Hazard said: “Yeah I want to know.
“I want to know, but like I say I am focused on the World Cup.
“If we have something new - manager or players - it is always good to know it because I want players that can [help bring success back to] Chelsea next season.
“But to be fair the transfer market is not here [in full flow] yet. We will see after."
Seri update
Chelsea target Jean Michael Seri is in talks with Napoli, his agent has confirmed.
Nice midfielder Seri is being monitored by the Blues and is seen as the perfect player to complement N’Golo Kante.
And Seri’s agent, Franklin Mala, has revealed his client is in talks with a move to Napoli and he wants to play for the Serie A outfit.
He said: “We are in talks with Napoli and he’s tempted by the idea of wearing the jersey.
“He would really like to play for Napoli and Carlo Ancelotti could get the best out of his characteristics.”
Alonso to Real Madrid?
Chelsea star Marcos Alonso could reportedly be heading to Real Madrid this summer.
Alonso, 27, impressed under Antonio Conte this season, despite Chelsea’s horror Premier League title defence.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Real Madrid and Barcelona are battling to land Alonso this summer.
However, they say Real are leading the race to sign the left-back, with Florentino Perez desperate to land defensive reinforcements.
Don Balon add that Chelsea want to sell the Spain defender - and Real are confident of completing a deal in the coming weeks.
Asensio offer
Chelsea have made an offer for Real Madrid star Marco Asensio, reports in Spain claim.
The attacker has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in recent months.
Asensio, 22, is said to be keen to get more game time, whether that’s at Real or elsewhere.
And according to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, Asensio is a target for Chelsea this summer.
They say the Blues have made an offer for the Spain international, with Chelsea desperate to land Asensio.
Diario Gol add that the Real winger is open to heading to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Florenzi enquiry
Chelsea have made contact with Roma over a potential deal for versatile star Alessandro Florenzi, according to reports.
The Blues are keen to start their transfer business and could make Florenzi their first signing.
La Gazzette dello Sport reports that Chelsea have made contact with Roma with the midfielder, who can also play full-back, potentially set to leave the club.
The 27-year-old is on a deal until next summer though talks of a contract extension have broke down.
