Liverpool transfer news: Barcelona plot stunning Mohamed Salah swap deal - report
BARCELONA are reportedly willing to offer Ousmane Dembele to Liverpool as part of a stunning swap deal for Mohamed Salah.
Salah and Kadyrov greet fans after first training in Grozny
Salah lit up the Premier League during his maiden season at Liverpool scoring 44 goals while helping his side to the Champions League final.
The Egyptian’s performances have attracted interest from several European heavyweights and a switch to Real Madrid has been heavily mooted.
But according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Barcelona are now weighing up a transfer as they look for the final piece to their attacking jigsaw.
Ernesto Valverde’s side have been long linked with Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann, but if a move for the French forward breaks down then they have highlighted two other key targets.
The first is said to be Salah - and Dembele could be used as a makeweight.
However, Diario Gol claim that because the Liverpool forward is valued higher than their current winger they would also have to cough up cash with the swap deal.
The second option Barcelona are supposedly looking at is Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.
The youngster only joined the French champions 12 months ago but his talent is expected to take him to the very top of the game.
But again, the Catalan club would also have to pay a financial sum along with the trade of Dembele.
Diario Gol add that Real Madrid bosses fear Barcelona strengthening their attacking area as they already have Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in their ranks.
