Cristiano Ronaldo will join Man Utd unless Real Madrid appoint one shock manager- report
REAL MADRID star Cristiano Ronaldo will pursue his dream of returning to Manchester United if a certain man does not succeed Zinedine Zidane, according to reports.
The Frenchman built up a close rapport with Ronaldo, coaxing the best out of his talisman in the process.
Now Zidane is gone, Ronaldo may join him.
Real have been tipped to appoint the likes of Jurgen Klopp and Antonio Conte.
But Ronaldo, Don Balon say, would prefer the La Liga giants to go for Michael Laudrup.
The 53-year-old, who played for Real during his playing days, is currently at Qatar Stars League club Al Rayyan.

Ronaldo wants him to take over but, if he does not, a return to United will beckon.
Meanwhile, speaking in February, Laudrup suggested his coaching career was winding down.
"I am in my final stages as a coach, this job in Qatar will be my ultimate or penultimate," he explained.
"This summer I will be 54, and when I stopped playing in 1998 I never thought that I would be coaching for so long.
"In 2000 I agreed to be Morten Olsen's number two in the Denmark team and I am still going."
