Man Utd transfer news: Fred completes medical, Diogo Dalot deal imminent
MANCHESTER UNITED are on the verge of completing deals for both Fred and Diogo Dalot.
Fred to Manchester United? Brazilian midfielder gives update
The duo have both been heavily linked with moves to Old Trafford in recent weeks.
And it seems United have moved quickly to wrap up deals for both stars before the World Cup gets underway.
Fred, who was in Liverpool on Sunday for Brazil's friendly with Croatia, was spotted arriving at Carrington on Monday ahead of a £52m move from Shakhtar Donetsk.
And according to Manchester-based journalist Craig Norwood, the Brazilian has completed his medical this afternoon.
The deal for Fred could be confirmed on Tuesday.
"Fred Rodrigues completed his #MUFC medical at Carrington today, final paperwork to be signed before official announcement in the next 24-hours," he tweeted.
As for Dalot, the Porto youngster is now expected to travel to the UK to undergo a medical of his own in the coming days.
Norwood added: "Fred being the first signing coming into Old Trafford this summer.
"Diogo Dalot will be the second with a medical pencilled in for the next 48-hours."
The 19-year-old will cost United £19m after Jose Mourinho met the release clause set by his former club.
Dalot is seen to be the long-term replacement for Red Devils veteran Antonio Valencia.
Marco Verratti, Marko Arnautovic and Aleksandr Golovin have also been linked with United this week.
