Real Madrid squad all pay tribute to Zinedine Zidane on social media… except two players
REAL MADRID players have shown their love for Zinedine Zidane on social media after the legendary Frenchman stepped down as Los Blancos manager.
Zinedine Zidane dramatically left his post as Real Madrid manager earlier today, and the Los Blancos players have been quick to pay tribute to their former boss.
The 45-year-old departs the Bernabeu on a high after securing his third consecutive Champions League title with a 3-1 win over Liverpool in Kiev.
Just five days after the triumph, Zidane stunned fans and his players by announcing he would be standing down.
The majority of the Real Madrid squad have been quick to pay tribute to the Frenchman, who steered Real to nine trophies with 104 wins out of 149 games since taking over in January 2016.
However, there were no messages of thanks from either Mateo Kovacic or Gareth Bale on their social media channels.
The duo were the only two players out of the 24-man squad to not post a message to their departing manager.
