Man Utd transfer news: Gareth Bale boost as Hibs manager predicts Real Madrid exit
GARETH BALE will not be a Real Madrid player next season, reckons Hibernian manager Neil Lennon.
Bale fuelled speculation over his future following Real Madrid’s Champions League final win over Liverpool on Saturday.
The Welshman confirmed he was not happy with his lack of game time, just minutes after scoring a brace to lead his side to a third successive European trophy.
Bale is set for talks over his future with the club this week and Express Sport understands Manchester United are the favourites for his signature.
Lennon believes Bale’s post-match outburst was a build up of frustration over this season.

And the Celtic legend says it would be a wrong decision for the 28-year-old to stay at the Bernabeu.
“I think there’s a frustration building and it’s all come to fruition,” Lennon said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I don’t think he will be a Real Madrid player next year.
“If I was Gareth Bale I wouldn’t want to be a Real Madrid player next year.

“I’d want to play regular, I’m at the peak of my career.
“I’ve won four Champions Leagues in five seasons, it’s time for maybe a new challenge.
“I think that’s what Gareth’s looking at.”
