Man Utd transfer news: AC Milan chief drops hint of Marouane Fellaini deal
AC MILAN are growing increasingly confident that they can sign Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to the club’s sporting director.

Fellaini has yet to sign a new deal with Manchester United and he will be a free agent as of next month.
United have pushed hard to try and convince the afro-haired Belgian to put pen to paper on new terms, but they have struggled so far with their attempts.
Milan are eyeing a potential move, while the 30-year-old is likely to receive a whole host of offers from Chinese Super League clubs.
Last week, reports suggested Milan had formally entered the bidding process.

And the club’s sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli has suggested a deal could be on the cards.
“Fellaini? He could be an important player. In fact, he is an important player,” said Mirabelli.
“We know that he is not renewing his contract with Manchester United, but it is difficult to say if we have closed it.
“He has important parameters. We will do something in that role, but with maximum discretion.
“We will close a deal first before we announce a player."
Although Fellaini hasn’t always been popular with the supporters, Mourinho is keen to keep hold of him.
