And the Premier League champions are already on the lookout for a new assistant in their dugout.
Guardiola is said to favour Barcelona star Iniesta as he prepares to bid farewell to the Nou Camp after 22 years.
According to Yahoo Sports, the 33-year-old is considering a player-coach role in England which would see him link up with his former boss for the first time since 2012.

Talks are reportedly already underway and Iniesta is said to be keen to accept the offer.
The Barcelona legend announced he would be leaving the club last month in an emotional press conference in Spain.
Iniesta has lifted the World Cup and two European Championships, as well as eight La Liga titles and four Champions Leagues at club level.
