Arsenal transfer news: Next Gunners manager made aware of two ‘ideal’ signings
NAPOLI duo Jorginho and Kalidou Koulibaly would go a long way to solving the problems at Arsenal, according to ESPN reporter Mattias Karen.

However, Karen claims there are doubts Arsenal will be able to afford the two Serie A stars.
Express Sport understands Koulibaly is a £53million target for the Gunners, whereas Jorginho has been linked with Premier League champions Manchester City.
The Gunners are still on the lookout for a new manager so are unlikely to make any signings until they have a boss in place.
Arsenal’s transfer policy has changed now Arsene Wenger has left, with new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat and head of football relations Raul Sanllehi having a big say in who comes in and out.

I would say maybe an ideal scenario would be getting the Napoli duo Koulibaly and Jorginho
Karen believes Arsenal need to strengthen both defensively and in the centre of midfield.
And he says they may have to rely on Mislintat’s expertise, if they cannot afford the likes of Koulibaly or Jorginho.
“Well it’s clear Arsenal need a defensive midfielder and a centre-back,” Karen told ESPN FC.
“In terms of who they exactly go for, it’s very hard to predict with this new regime coming in.
Arsenal transfer news: Karen doubts the Gunners will be able to afford Koulibaly and Jorginho
“I would say maybe an ideal scenario would be getting the Napoli duo Koulibaly and Jorginho.
“But that would require spending some serious money and it remains to be seen if Arsenal are willing to do that.
“So they might be relying on Sven Mislintat, the new recruitment head, to unearth some younger talent that maybe people haven’t heard about as much.
“So it will be interesting to see how exactly they solve that issue.”
