Sunday Times Rich List 2018: Walcott earns more than Pogba as young sports stars revealed
PAUL POGBA is one of the most expensive footballers in the world, but the Manchester United man is way down the Sunday Times Rich List for young sports stars.
Which Premier League stars made it into the Sunday Times Rich List 2018?
The Sunday Times have released their annual Rich List rankings, with golfer Rory McIlroy the clear winner among young sports stars under the age of 30 in Britain and Ireland.
The 29-year-old has earned a fortune of £110million, increasing his total by £28m from last year.
However, 14 of the 17 stars on the list are footballers with Manchester United players Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez and David De Gea all making the cut.
Pogba moved to Old Trafford from Juventus for £89million in 2016, and has amassed a healthy personal wealth of £25m.
But this tally is surprisingly lower than Everton winger Theo Walcott, while Liverpool ace Daniel Sturridge also earns more than De Gea.
