Liverpool transfer news: Barcelona star Yerry Mina set to join on loan - report
LIVERPOOL are set to loan Barcelona centre-half Yerry Mina next season, according to reports in Spain.
Yerry Mina is being linked with a move to Liverpool
The Colombian only joined the Catalan outfit in January after completing a €11.8 (£10.3m) switch from Palmeiras.
Mina has featured five times for Barcelona since the move, leading to talk of a loan exit next season to ensure the 23-year-old receives more game time.
Valencia, Villarreal and Sevilla have all been linked with the youngster in recent weeks.
However, according to El Chiringuito, Liverpool have moved to the front of the queue for Mina's signature.
On the Spanish programme, journalist Ignacio Miguelez said: "There is a player who has already closed his future for next year and it is Yerry Mina, the Colombian will play on loan at Liverpool."

He adds that Mina was not the signing of Ernesto Valverde, and instead was brought in by club officials.
The Barcelona boss reportedly wants the defender to adapt to European football with a temporary spell away from the Nou Camp.
However, Valverde still sees the defender as a potential star in the future.
With doubts remaining over Dejan Lovren and Ragnar Klavan, Liverpool are still on the hunt for a defensive partner for Virgil van Dijk after signing the Dutchman in January.
The Reds have also been linked with Nabil Fekir in recent days.
