Mane picked up a thigh injury in the first leg which forced him to miss Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Stoke.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made four changes for the Stoke match with James Milner, Sadio Mane, Andrew Robertson and Dejan Lovren all starting.
From last week’s 5-1 win, Gini Wijnaldum replaces the injured Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Roma make three changes with Lorenzo Pellegrini, Patrik Schick and Stephan El Shaarawy coming in for Juan Jesus, Kevin Strootman and Cengiz Under.
After the struggles playing 3-5-2 last week, Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco appears to have selected a 4-3-3 formation tonight.
