Chelsea transfer news: Rafa Benitez could determine David Luiz’s move to Napoli
DAVID LUIZ could reportedly swap Chelsea for Napoli in the summer in the event Rafael Benitez takes over.
David Luiz could leave Chelsea in the summer
Luiz has cut an increasingly frustrated figure at Chelsea this term after falling out of favour under Antonio Conte.
The Brazilian looks set to leave Stamford Bridge and reports have suggested he is one of NINE players that could head for the exit.
The Blues are set for a big overhaul of their squad in the summer and Roman Abramovich looks set to dispense with his manager too.
And according to The Sun, Newcastle boss Benitez could hold the key to Luiz heading to Italy.

If we impoverish the whole system, then the rich will be impoverished too
The Spaniard has exceeded expectations with the Magpies having worked on a shoestring budget and steered them to the top half in the Premier League.
The Sun claim Luiz is keen to reunite with Benitez, who arguably got the best out of him during his interim spell in charge of Chelsea when he lifted the Europa League.
Napoli could be set for change on the managerial front.
Benitez, who previously managed the Naples outfit between 2013 and 2015, lifted a Coppa Italia and he could make a return to replace Maurizio Sarri.
Although Sarri enjoyed an excellent campaign and ran Juventus close in the Serie A title race, he hinted yesterday that he is up for a change of scenery.
Tony Cascarino warns Chelsea not to sell Loftus-Cheek
“I must say, seeing the Premier League have this constant alternation of winners every year, it grows the love for teams and makes everyone have hope of success.
“It’s a different situation here in Italy.
“The risk is that we’ll lose many fans, because they cheer on teams that will never win and they know that too well.
