Real Madrid beat Bayern Munich 4-3 on aggregate
Real Madrid drew with Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final, going through 4-3 on aggregate.
Real held a 2-1 first-leg lead heading into their home fixture of this clash, having stunned Bayern in Germany last week.
It was Bayern who rocked their hosts just four minutes in when Joshua Kimmich bundled home from four yards out.
The Bernabeu was silenced - but only for seven minutes until Karim Benzema levelled the tie with a back-post header.
James Rodriguez then missed a sitter in front of goal to put Bayern 2-1 up and level the aggregate tie.
By half-time the two sides were fairly evenly matched, with Real boasting the slight advantage over the two legs.
Things got better for Real when Sven Ulreich's blunder gifted Benzema his second.
And James Rodriguez equaliser after the hour mark was not enough for the visitors.
