Arsenal are on the lookout for a manager with Arsene Wenger set to leave in the summer after almost 22 years at the club.
Wenger is the only manager Iwobi has had in his short club career and at 21 was only a few months old when the Frenchman was appointed in 1996.
And the Nigeria international admits he will be upset to see him leave.
"It's a bit depressing and a bit sad for me,” Iwobi told ESPN.

It's exciting times, we'll have to wait until after the World Cup to actually meet him
“He has done a lot for me in a short time in my career.
"We're going to try and give him the right send-off he deserves and end the season on a high and do our best for him."
Liverpool assistant manager Zeljko Buvac is the shock new favourite to replace Wenger at Arsenal.
Iwobi is set to be named in the Nigeria squad for this summer’s World Cup in Russia, which means he is unlikely to meet the new appointment until after the tournament.
