Pogba had been an injury doubt due to the leg injury he suffered at the end of training on Friday, however, Jose Mourinho was hopeful the France midfielder would be fit to start.
But the 24-year-old is only fit enough for a place on the bench with Mourinho making two changes to the starting XI which beat Liverpool on Saturday.
Belgian Marouane Fellaini starts in central midfield alongside Nemanja Matic and Jesse Lingard comes in for Juan Mata.
Marcus Rashford starts again after his brace against Liverpool.
