Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp 'not thinking' about possible Anfield exit - Manninger
JURGEN KLOPP will not be leaving Liverpool any time soon.
Jurgen Klopp isn't thinking about leaving Liverpool, according to Alex Manninger
That is according to former Red goalkeeper Alex Manninger.
Klopp may have failed to bring silverware to Anfield since replacing Brendan Rodgers in 2015, but the impact he has had on Merseyside cannot be understated.
Antonio Conte, Arsene Wenger and even Jose Mourinho have faced questions over their future in recent months.
But Manninger believes Klopp isn't leaving any time soon.
"Klopp will not, for a second, think about leaving Liverpool because he has just renewed his contract," he told Ilbianconero.
Jurgen Klopp seems to avoid major criticism, unlike his Premier League counterparts
He doesn't like to leave his job half done and he wants to complete the job that he started in 2015
"He doesn't like to leave his job half done and he wants to complete the job that he started in 2015."
Liverpool are still in the hunt for a top-four finish this season.
And the Reds can still win in the Champions League after reaching the quarter-finals.
"Liverpool? It will be a very balanced quarter-final," Manninger continued.
"My former teammates have made a great return to the Champions League.
"They are a very competitive and are no less than Real Madrid and Barcelona.
"The Reds are a sight to behold and together with Manchester City, are a team that scores the most in the Premier League."
