Jamie Carragher: Sky Sports change MNF time for Stoke v Man City after spit incident
SKY SPORTS have changed the start time of tonight’s Monday Night Football programme in the wake of Jamie Carragher’s suspension today.
Moment Jamie Carragher SPITS on fan's daughter
Carragher has been suspended by Sky Sports after a video emerged of the Liverpool legend spitting at a Manchester United fan and his 14-year-old daughter from his car window.
The incident happened on Saturday following Liverpool’s 2-1 loss to United at Old Trafford.
Carragher was due to be a pundit for tonight’s Premier League clash between Stoke and Manchester City alongside his former manager at Liverpool and current Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.
However, that will not be the case, and Sky have acted by changing the usual scheduled start time to 7.30pm from 7.00pm.
Carragher is usually joined by a guest alongside presenter David Jones to discuss the weekend’s Premier League action in the first hour of the show.

It was a moment of madness. It’s difficult for me to explain
But his absence has caused a change and Sky will now show highlights of Celtic’s win over Rangers yesterday on their Main Event channel and a programme dedicated to Stoke striker Peter Crouch’s 100 Premier League goals on their Premier League channel.
Carragher today appeared on Sky News where he was grilled by Sarah Hewson.
The former England defended admitted remorse at what happened on Saturday.
“It was a moment of madness,” Jamie Carragher said.
“It’s difficult for me to explain. Watching those clips back it feels almost like an outer-body thing, that moment of madness for four or five seconds.

“No matter what the circumstances for anyone, you can’t ever behave like that. That is just unacceptable.
“You think why do you react like that as it’s part of being a public figure.
“At times different things get said but it’s the only time I’ve reacted like that and it’ll be the only time i’ll ever react.
“It’s devastating for the family involved and my family, but it’s down to my actions that’s brought that on.”
