Atletico Junior player sent off after boot lands in player’s CHEST
Colombian side Atletico Junior were facing Palmeiras when defender German Gutierrez was sent off after just nine minutes into their Copa Libertadores clash.
Gutierrez was battling for the ball with midfielder Bruno Henrique when he mis-timed his kick.
The 28-year-old ended up kicking Bruno in the chest in a sickening collison which resulted in Gutierrez being shown a straight red card.

Staggeringly, Bruno recovered to score Palmeiras’s opening goal 10 minutes later before grabbing his second 19 minutes from time.
While the referee quickly deemed Gutierrez’s kick a red card offense, some fans on Twitter didn’t quite agree.
“It was nothing, deserved a yellow by simulation,” one fan wrote.
Another said: “It was nothing to follow the game.”

Palmeiras went on to beat Atletico Junior 3-0 thanks to Bruno’s brace and a second half strike from Miguel Borja.
“We know that Libertadores does not have an easy game, every team is difficult to play, they are very competitive, they run and fight a lot, we knew we were not going to be easy, even with a few fewer bids we suffered, but I know how to put up with it.
“All games are going to be difficult, but we are prepared,” Bruno said.
