Tottenham labelled a SHAMBLES by Rio Ferdinand who slams CRIMINAL defending vs Juventus
TOTTENHAM’s defending for Gonzalo Higuain’s opening goal for Juventus tonight was “criminal” and “shambolic”, says Rio Ferdinand.

Juventus raced into a 2-0 lead within the first 10 minutes of the game in Turin.
Higuain volleyed home from a Miralem Pjanic free-kick before beating Hugo Lloris again, this time from the penalty spot.
Before the game, Ferdinand said Tottenham needed to be fully concentrated from the first whistle.
But he says it was clear that they were not, especially with the way they defended for Higuain’s first goal.

“The way they started, the concentration at this level has to be on the money from minute one,” Ferdinand said on BT Sport.
“It wasn’t, the clearance to start with was a shambles.
“The organisation here for the free kick, all of the back four are outside of the post.

“The finish, I’ll leave that to the attacking players to go crazy over.”
Tottenham striker Harry Kane reduced the deficit for Spurs after rounding Juventus keeper Gianluigi Buffon.
Higuain could have completed his hat-trick but saw his second penalty of the night come back off the crossbar.
Christian Eriksen completed the comeback with a low free kick which caught out Buffon.
