ROBERTO FIRMINO has discussed replacing former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
Roberto Firmino has filled the void left by Philippe Coutinho
The midfielder cost Barcelona £142m in January but Jurgen Klopp decided against signing a like-for-like replacement before the end of the transfer window.
And Liverpool are more than coping without their former star.
Mohamed Salah has netted 22 Premier League goals this season.
While Coutinho's fellow countryman Firmino has scored 19 times in 31 games so far this term.
And the 26-year-old has spoken out about filling the void left by his former team-mate.
"Of course, Coutinho is a great player but we’ve substituted him with no problems," he said ahead of Wednesday's clash with Porto.

"Everybody has a greater responsibility but that’s our job, to deal with that responsibility."
Liverpool topped their Champions League group with 12 points back in December.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the only player to have netted more goals than Firmino in the competition this season.
While Edinson Cavani and Neymar are the only pairing to have scored more frequently than Firmino and Salah.

But the former Hoffenheim striker refused to be drawn on the Ronaldo comparisons.
"I only focus on doing a good game and if you do a good game then the goals will appear," he added.
"By giving my maximum to the team, I can be up alongside those players."
Porto travel to Anfield for a 7.45pm kick-off tomorrow evening.
