After scoring a hat-trick against Everton last week, Ramsey was expected to start again in midfield at Wembley.
Ramsey was pictured training with his team-mates yesterday but was not included in the starting XI at Wembley.
But shortly after the team-news was announced, Arsenal revealed the reason for Ramsey’s absence.
Arsenal wrote on Twitter: “Rambo misses today's game with a minor groin problem - get well soon, @aaronramsey.”
Mohamed Elneny comes into the side in place of Ramsey while Jack Wilshere replaces Alex Iwobi.
