Tottenham v Arsenal: Danny Murphy reveals what is exciting him most about the clash
DANNY MURPHY has revealed he can’t wait to see Henrikh Mkhitarayn make his north London derby debut for Arsenal against Tottenham.
Wenger: Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan made ‘convincing’ debut
Arsenal travel to face their bitter rivals Tottenham today (12.30pm), and they will be eager to close the gap in the table as they trail Mauricio Pochettino’s men by four points.
Aubameyang, who cost Arsenal a club-record fee of £55.6million last month, scored on his debut in the 5-1 thrashing of Everton last weekend.
Mkhitaryan has been reunited with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with the pair previously enjoying a productive partnership at Borussia Dortmund.
The Gunners have a good record at Wembley and will be eager to do the double over Spurs after their 2-0 win at the Emirates back in November.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is likely to cause problems for Tottenham
If Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang revive that tomorrow, they will cause problems for Tottenham
And Murphy believes Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang can cause problems for Tottenham if they hit it off straight away.
“Let’s hope that after this match tomorrow, all we are talking about is the football,” Murphy wrote in his column for the London Evening Standard.
“I’m looking forward to seeing Henrikh Mkhitaryan in action for Arsenal.

“It’s very unfair to say he failed at Manchester United and he clearly struck up a good relationship with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when they were both at Borussia Dortmund.
“Sometimes you just click with a player. I had it with Francis Jeffers, who I played with for England youth sides and then Charlton.
“I knew the runs he would make, he knew I find him. If Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang revive that tomorrow, they will cause problems for Tottenham.”
