CHELSEA star Eden Hazard has been in touch with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to press his claims for a transfer, it has been claimed.

Hazard has been top of head coach Zinedine Zidane’s wish list in recent transfer windows but he faces an uncertain future at the Bernabeu after presiding over a woeful campaign.
Perez, who has a major influence over the club’s transfer policy, fancies swooping for Tottenham striker Harry Kane and Mauro Icardi of Inter Milan to strengthen the team’s attack instead.
But Don Balon claim Hazard is desperate to join Real Madrid and has informed Perez of his wish to move.
Hazard’s representatives have reportedly disclosed that he wants to make the switch whether or not Zidane is in the dugout next season.

According to Don Balon, the Belgian fancies a fresh challenge after five-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge.
He reportedly also believes that he has more chance of winning the Ballon d’Or playing for Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, reports in Spain suggest Hazard could swap places with Marco Asensio at the end of the season.
Chelsea have been credited with an interest in winger Asensio.
