TOTTENHAM’s defenders took the brunt of Jamie Carragher’s criticism during tonight’s clash against Liverpool.

Speaking at half time, Carragher was particularly critical of three players for Mohamed Salah’s opening goal.
Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier was guilty of a huge error, inadvertently passing through to Salah who finished with aplomb past goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
However, it was the lead up to the goal that frustrated Carragher the most.
Davinson Sanchez and Kieran Trippier both attempted and failed to clear the ball before Dier’s mistake.

“Sanchez has a go now, now Trippier has a little go, now Dier,” Liverpool legend Carragher said on Sky Sports.
“It’s a poor pass. (But) you’re away from home, two minutes in away at Anfield, red-hot atmosphere.
