Alexis Sanchez: Manchester United should do 'everything' to sign Arsenal star - Yorke
MANCHESTER UNITED are expected to sign Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez and former Red Devils forward Dwight Yorke is desperate for the deal to be completed.

Manchester United are frontrunners to secure Alexis Sanchez, despite pressure from Chelsea to hijack the deal.
Last night, Antonio Conte’s side emerged as suiters for the Chilean but still expect the Red Devils to sign the striker still.
Chelsea are understood to be willing to match Manchester United’s £35million offer and Arsenal want to sell him now, rather than risk losing him for free at the end of the season.
Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke said bringing Sanchez to the club would be an “absolutely fantastic deal”.

He said: “When a top player like Sanchez becomes available, you expect all the big clubs to be involved.
“Obviously there are strong rumours Chelsea are trying to hijack the deal, but it’s not a surprise, that’s what happens when a big player becomes available.
“Hopefully we’ve done everything we can possibly do to bring him to the football club.
“Having a player of that quality added to our squad, with the great ability we’ve already got upfront, this will be an absolutely fantastic deal for us to get such a quality player.”

Yorke also told talkSPORT that Henrikh Mkhitaryan could do with a fresh start and would be a great signing for Arsenal.
Mkhitaryan could join Arsenal as part of a cash-plus-player deal, as Jose Mourinho’s side try to secure Sanchez.
Speaking last night about Mkhitaryan’s commission from the team, before Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Stoke, Mourinho said: “I don't think it's easy for a player to play when there are doubts about his future.”
United are understood to have offered him a deal worth £350,000 a week - or £15m a year. Those sort of figures ensured Manchester City went cold on a player for whom they bid £60m last summer.
It is believed that City were not prepared to pay that amount when the player becomes a free agent in the summer.
Speaking about the prospect of signing Sanchez, Mourinho said: “I am not confident, but also not unconfident. Just relaxed and we have the feeling that he is an Arsenal player.”
